Blake and Mortimer is an exciting animated TV show. It is based on the popular comic book series created by Edgar Pierre Jacobs. The show was first aired in 1997. It was directed by Stéphane Bernasconi and made by a French animation studio called Ellipse.

The TV series used nine stories from the original comic books. But it also added four brand new adventures! These new stories were The Viking's Bequest, The Secret of Easter Island, The Alchemist's Will, and The Druid. Writers worked hard to create new plots. They made sure the stories fit the amazing world of Blake and Mortimer.

Episodes and Adventures

There are 26 episodes in total. Each adventure is split into two parts. This means there are 13 full stories for you to enjoy!

A New Adventure: The Viking's Bequest

The Viking's Bequest (which means "The Viking's Legacy" in French) was the first of the four new stories made for the TV show. In this adventure, a scientist from Iceland creates a new way to make energy from the Earth's heat. She invites famous experts to see her discovery.

Of course, Captain Blake and Professor Mortimer are there! But the sneaky villain Olrik also shows up in disguise. He tries to steal this amazing new energy discovery. It's up to Blake and Mortimer to stop him!
