Blake and Mortimer is an exciting animated TV show. It is based on the popular comic book series created by Edgar Pierre Jacobs. The show was first aired in 1997. It was directed by Stéphane Bernasconi and made by a French animation studio called Ellipse.
The TV series used nine stories from the original comic books. But it also added four brand new adventures! These new stories were The Viking's Bequest, The Secret of Easter Island, The Alchemist's Will, and The Druid. Writers worked hard to create new plots. They made sure the stories fit the amazing world of Blake and Mortimer.
