Blaqk Audio is an electronic band. It was formed by two members of the band AFI: Davey Havok and Jade Puget.
In Blaqk Audio, Davey Havok writes the lyrics and sings. Jade Puget creates all the music and programs the synthesizers. A synthesizer is an electronic musical instrument that makes a wide range of sounds.
The band signed with Interscope Records. Their first album, called CexCells, came out on August 14, 2007. Blaqk Audio describes themselves as "Two boys in love with synthesizers and software".
