Starting His Music Journey
Blessed began his music career by performing with a group called the Redd Flames sound system. A sound system is like a big mobile DJ setup with huge speakers. It's where many reggae artists get their start.
Over the years, Blessed has released many individual songs, which are called singles. He has also put out a full album and several mixtapes. Mixtapes are like collections of songs, sometimes with new tracks and sometimes with remixes.
Awards and Recognition
Winning two Juno Awards is a big deal in Canadian music! The Juno Awards are like the Grammy Awards for Canada. Besides his two wins, Blessed has been nominated for the reggae category nine other times. This shows how much his music is loved and respected in the reggae world. He is a true star in the reggae music scene.
