Bo En's Music Journey
Bo En released his first album, pale machine, in 2013. A year later, in 2014, he put out a special CD called pale machine [EXPANSION PACK]. This CD had four new songs he wrote, plus six remixes of songs from his first album.
In 2014, Bo En also created a remix of the song "My Party" for the band Kero Kero Bonito. This remix was featured on their Bonito Recycling music collection.
Over the next few years, he released three single songs: "By the Phone", "sometimes", and "love in a song". In 2021, he made a funny remix of "love in a song" called "love in a song - DJ HEARTBREAK ANNIHILATION MIX".
In 2023, Bo En shared exciting news. He announced that he was working on new songs with another artist named Babymorocco. They are creating several new tracks together.
Bo En also released Pale Machine 2, which is a follow-up to his first album. This album includes new versions of songs from pale machine. It also features brand new songs with different artists. Two songs from the original expansion pack, "I'll Fall" and "Money Won't Pay", were also added to Pale Machine 2.
Making Music for Video Games
Besides making his own music, Calum Bowen also writes music for video games. He uses his real name, Calum Bowen, for these projects.
He created the soundtracks for games like Up Up Ubie and Super Ubie Land. He also wrote music for smaller games such as Marble Time, Thief Story, and Winnose.
Later, Calum composed the music for the popular game Lovely Planet in 2014. He continued to work on its sequels, Lovely Planet Arcade and Lovely Planet 2: April Skies.
In 2019, he composed the soundtrack for the game Pikuniku. He also wrote three songs for the game Omori, which came out in late 2020. One of these songs was a faster, shorter version of "My Time", a song from his first album, Pale Machine. In 2022, two more songs he composed were added to the Omori soundtrack for the console version of the game.
Calum also composed the music for Voyage (released in 2021). In 2022, he created the soundtrack for Poinpy, a mobile game from Netflix Games.
