About Professor Bobbie Hunter
Her Journey in Education
Professor Hunter studied at Massey University. She earned her first advanced degree in 2002. This degree focused on how students learn about decimals. In 2007, she earned her PhD. Her PhD research looked at how teachers can create groups where students explore math ideas together.
After finishing her studies, Professor Hunter joined the staff at Massey University. She worked hard and became a full professor in 2019.
