Bonny Sengupta, whose birth name is Anupriyo Sengupta, is an Indian actor. He was born on August 10, 1990, in Kolkata, India. He is known for his work in Bengali films. Bonny started his acting career in 2014. His first two films, Borbaad and Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey, were directed by Raj Chakraborty.

Bonny Sengupta's father is Anup Sengupta and his mother is Piya Sengupta. He comes from a family involved in films. His grandfather, Sukhen Das, was a famous stage actor and director.

Before he became an actor, Bonny worked behind the scenes. He helped director Raj Chakraborty with the film Yoddha: The Warrior. This experience helped him learn about filmmaking.
