Koushani Mukherjee is a well-known Indian actress who has also become a politician. She is famous for her work in Bengali films. Koushani started her acting journey in 2015 with the movie Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey. In this film, she starred alongside Bonny Sengupta and was directed by Raj Chakraborty.

Starting as a Model

Koushani Mukherjee began her career by winning the "Miss Beauty of Kolkata" title in 2015. This early success helped her step into the entertainment world.

Her First Steps in Acting

In 2015, Koushani made her big screen debut in Raj Chakraborty's film Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey. She played the character of Aparna, a romantic lead in the movie. The next year, in 2016, she appeared in Kelor Kirti. This was a romantic comedy directed by Raja Chanda. In Kelor Kirti, Koushani played Anushka, a rich young woman who falls in love with a journalist.

In 2017, she was cast in a new movie by Ravi Kinnagi. By 2019, Koushani was also featured as the cover model for the FFACE Fashion Calendar.

Stepping into Politics

Koushani Mukherjee also decided to enter the world of politics. In 2021, she ran as a candidate for the All India Trinamool Congress party. She competed for the Krishnanagar Uttar seat in the elections.
