Shiboprosad Mukherjee (born on May 20, 1974) is a talented Indian filmmaker, writer, and actor. He is well-known for directing movies, often working with his co-director, Nandita Roy. Together, they create films that are not only popular but also talk about important social issues.

Early Life and School
Shiboprosad Mukherjee was born in Baranagar, near Kolkata, India, on May 20, 1974. He went to Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School and later to Hindu School. After finishing school, he studied Political Science at Jadavpur University.

Acting Career
After school, Shiboprosad joined a theatre group to learn acting. He worked on a project called T.I.E. (Theatre in Education). He also got advice from famous director Rituporno Ghosh when he was a journalist.
His first acting role on TV was in 1995 in a show called "Ekushe Pa" on Zee Bangla. He then acted in other daily TV shows like Janmabhoomi and Ghoom Nei.
Directing and Producing for TV
As a director and producer, Shiboprosad has worked with major TV channels in West Bengal and Bangladesh. He has helped create many hours of TV shows. From 1999 to 2002, he worked at ETV Bangla, where he helped create and produce new shows every day.
He has designed more than 50 non-fiction shows for Bengali television. He also created Sreemoti, which was the first TV magazine show for women in Bengali. Many people believe he was one of the first to bring reality shows to Bengali TV with "Ritur Mela Jhoom Tara Ra Ra".
Later, he started his own production company called Windows Production with his partner Nandita Roy. They have produced many popular non-fiction and fiction shows together.
