Book of Sirach facts for kids
The Book of Sirach is a book of the Bible that is part of the Catholic and Orthodox biblical canon, put forward by the Council of Carthage in 397 and confirmed by Catholic leaders at the Council of Trent in the 16th century. It was written roughly in the year 180 BC in Jerusalem by a Jew named Ben Sira. Its main theme is that of wisdom.
