A Glimpse into Boracho's Past
Boracho had a very brief history as a recognized community. A post office was opened there in 1908. This was an important step for any small settlement, as it helped people send and receive mail. The first person to be in charge of the post office, known as the postmistress, was Mary E. Glenn. However, the post office didn't stay open for long. It closed just four years later, in 1912. This short period suggests that the community of Boracho likely remained very small or didn't grow as much as expected.
