History of Boyer
Boyer was first established in 1889. The community got its name from the nearby Boyer River. This river flows through the area, making it an important natural feature.
Early Population and Services
In the early 1900s, Boyer was a small but active place. In 1902, about 60 people lived there. By 1925, the population had grown slightly to 80 residents.
A post office was opened in Boyer in 1899. This was an important service for the community, allowing people to send and receive mail. The post office served the residents for many years until it closed down in 1967. By 1940, the population of Boyer was around 70 people.
