Brandon Ash-Mohammed is a funny Canadian stand-up comedian. His first comedy album, called Capricornication, came out in 2020.

Brandon is a Black Canadian with family roots from Trinidad and Tobago. He studied comedy at Humber College. He also has some family history from Arabic cultures. Sometimes, people make guesses about his background because of his last name. He even has a comedy piece about this on his album.

Brandon created a popular series of comedy shows in Toronto called "Ethnic Rainbow." These shows featured comedians from diverse backgrounds. He also hosted a special TV show for Pride Toronto called "Virtual Pride" in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.

Brandon Ash-Mohammed has been featured in several comedy shows. In 2018, he was part of The Comedy Network's "Homegrown Comics" special. He also worked as a writer for the sketch comedy TV series TallBoyz.

Brandon is part of a comedy group called Untitled Black Sketch Project. This group is Canada's first all-Black Canadian sketch comedy team. Other comedians in this group include Coko Galore, PHATT Al, Alan Shane Lewis, Nkasi Ogbonnah, Ajahnis Charley, Aba Amuquandoh, and Brandon Hackett.

Current TV Role

As of 2025, Brandon is a correspondent for the city of Toronto on the 29th season of the popular TV show This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Awards and Recognitions

In 2022, Brandon Ash-Mohammed appeared on LOL: Last One Laughing Canada. This is a show where comedians try to make each other laugh without laughing themselves.

He also won an important award called the Canadian Screen Award. He received this award for Best Writing in a Lifestyle or Reality/Competition Series. This was for an episode of a popular reality competition series called "Screech" at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards.
