Brandon Estrada facts for kids
Brandon Estrada (born October 28, 1987) is an American pole vaulter. He is known for his impressive athletic achievements in track and field. Brandon graduated from the University of Southern California in 2011.
Brandon is the son of actor Erik Estrada and entertainment executive Peggy Lynn Rowe. After finishing his studies at USC, he also explored his passion for music. He studied jazz voice at the University of Cincinnati (CCM). In 2019, he released a song called "Coming for You."
Brandon Estrada was once the record holder for indoor pole vaulting in the United States. He also held the indoor national record for Puerto Rico. In 2010, he won a silver medal for Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games. He competed as a pole vaulter for the University of Southern California.
In 2010, Brandon won the pole vault event at the UCLA USC Dual Meet. This was a big achievement for him and his team.
His personal best vault, which is his highest jump ever, was 18 feet, 1.25 inches (or 5.52 meters). He achieved this on April 16, 2011, at the 53rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, California.
Today, Brandon Estrada continues to be involved in Track and Field. He works as an adviser, sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
