America's Next Top Model Journey
Cycle 5: Her First Big Chance
In the fall of 2005, Bre Scullark was chosen to be on America's Next Top Model. This was the fifth season of the popular TV show. She was known for her unique, raspy voice and her lively personality.
During her time on the show, Bre won two challenges. She was also voted "Covergirl of the Week" twice in a row. She even got the top photo call-out once before the models traveled to London.
Bre had a memorable disagreement with another contestant, Nicole Linkletter. It was about a granola bar. Bre later poured out some of Nicole's energy drinks. Another contestant, Kim Stolz, tried to help them sort it out. Bre and Nicole eventually became friends again during a day out in London. Years later, another contestant, Lisa D'Amato, joked that she was the one who took the granola bar.
Bre was in the bottom two four times. This meant she was at risk of being sent home. The judges sometimes worried about her ability to handle the tough modeling world. They also thought she was better for high fashion than for commercial modeling. Despite these challenges, she kept improving. Bre finished third in the competition. She was eliminated just before the finale.
