Brenda Joyce Carter was born on September 10, 1954. She is an American politician from Michigan. Brenda Carter is a member of the Democratic Party. She serves in the Michigan House of Representatives. She represents District 53.

Brenda Carter was born in 1954. Her father was John H. Canty and her mother was Mary S. Wallace. Brenda is one of thirteen children in her family. She went to high school in Detroit, Michigan.
Her Education
Brenda Carter studied at several colleges. She attended Spring Arbor College. She also went to Michigan State University. Later, she studied at Oakland University.
Her Career in Public Service
Before becoming a politician, Brenda Carter worked as an engineering analyst for GM. She also served as a temporary assistant for the City Manager of Troy, Michigan.
In August 2018, Brenda Carter ran for a seat in the Michigan House of Representatives. She won the primary election for District 29. On November 6, 2018, she won the main election. This made her a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
Her Family Life
Brenda Carter is married to Randy Carter. He is a councilman. They have five children together. In 1998, Brenda and her family moved to Pontiac, Michigan.
