Brian Joseph Kirkland, born on January 22, 1981, is an American politician. He was a member of the Democratic Party. He served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 159th district. His time in office was from 2017 to 2022.

Brian Kirkland went to Coatesville Area High School. After high school, he studied at East Stroudsburg University.

Working for the City of Chester

Before becoming a state representative, Brian Kirkland worked for the city of Chester, Pennsylvania. He was a Special Projects Coordinator. He also helped his uncle, Thaddeus Kirkland, who was a state representative at the time. Brian was the Director of Constituent Services for his uncle. This meant he helped people in the district with their needs.

Becoming a State Representative

In 2016, Brian Kirkland was elected as the state representative for the 159th district in Pennsylvania. He took over the role from his uncle, Thaddeus Kirkland. Brian won the election against the Republican candidate, Michael Ciach.
