Brian Pimental's Career in Animation
Starting at Disney
Brian Pimental began his career at Walt Disney Feature Animation. He started as a trainee on the movie Oliver & Company in 1988. After that, he became a story artist.
He worked on Beauty and the Beast (1991). He helped create the famous "Be Our Guest" and "Human Again" scenes in that film. He also worked as a story artist on Aladdin (1992).
Writing and Leading Stories
Brian Pimental became one of the screenwriters for A Goofy Movie (1995). He was also the Head of Story for this film. This means he led the team that planned out the movie's story. He received an ASIFA Award nomination for his work on this film.
He earned his second ASIFA Award nomination for Tarzan (1999). For Tarzan, he was again the Head of Story.
Directing and Voice Acting
Brian Pimental directed his first movie, Bambi II, which came out in 2006. This film won the ASIFA award for best non-theatrical feature. He also provided the voices for the Porcupine and Groundhog characters in the movie.
