Brian Wright (born March 23, 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player. He plays as a forward for Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League.

Early Life and Youth Soccer
Brian Wright was born in Toronto, Canada. When he was four years old, his family moved to Ajax. He spent most of his younger years playing soccer for a local club called Ajax SC.
Club Career Highlights
Starting Out in College Soccer
Brian played college soccer at the University of Vermont for the men's soccer team. He played there from 2013 to 2016. During his time at Vermont, Brian scored 39 goals and made 25 assists in 80 games. He helped his team reach the NCAA Tournament in both 2015 and 2016.
He earned many awards, including "Rookie of the Year" in 2013. He was also chosen for the America East first team three times. Brian finished his college career as one of the top players in Vermont's history. In 2016, he was even named a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy, a big award in college soccer. While in college, he also played for a team called Burlingame Dragons in 2016.
Playing for New England Revolution
In 2017, Brian was chosen by New England Revolution in the MLS SuperDraft. This is where professional soccer teams pick new players. He was the 20th player picked overall.
He made his professional debut on April 1, 2017, while on loan to Tulsa Roughnecks. Later, he played his first game for the Revolution in a cup competition called the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In that same competition, he scored his first professional goal, helping his team win. Brian also made his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut in July 2017. In March 2019, he was loaned to Birmingham Legion FC. He left New England Revolution after three seasons.
Time with Birmingham Legion
After leaving New England, Brian signed a permanent contract with Birmingham Legion. He played for them in 2019 and 2020.
Joining Atlético Ottawa
On April 27, 2021, Brian signed with Canadian Premier League team Atlético Ottawa. In his first year, he was the second-highest scorer for the team with six goals. He continued to play for them in the 2022 season. He scored Ottawa's first goal of that year, which was a winning penalty kick.
Moving to York United
In January 2023, Brian signed a two-year deal with York United. He played for them until the end of the 2024 season. At the end of 2024, he was named the "2024 CPL Players’ Player of the Year." This award is given to the best player as voted by other players in the league.
Playing for Forge FC
In January 2025, Brian Wright signed with Forge FC. He is currently playing for this team.
