What is the Story About?
The story follows a twelve-year-old boy named Eddie. He is part of a group of friends known as the "Reservoir Pups."
A Missing Head and a Big Problem
The adventure begins when two boys, Pat and Sean, who have run away from home, see something strange happen. They witness the old head of Saint Oliver Plunkett being taken from St. Peter's Church. This head was going to be shown for a special visit.
Pat talks to the church leader and learns that everyone will be very upset about the missing head. Feeling bad that he didn't stop it, Pat decides to help get it back.
Eddie and Mo Join the Hunt
Pat and Sean ask Eddie and his best friend, Mo, for help. Eddie and Mo are already busy with some tasks for their group, the Reservoir Pups. It turns out these tasks connect them to the person who has the missing head. This person has a son named Ivan, who is blind.
