The museum is located on King Street in Leyland, Lancashire, England. This spot is extra special because it's part of where the famous Leyland Motors factory used to be. Many of the vehicles you see in the museum were actually built right here!
The museum gets money to keep running from people buying admission tickets and memberships. A big help also came from the Heritage Lottery Fund. This money helped the museum get a major makeover and a new website. The museum is now open all year round, so you can visit anytime!

Famous Vehicles on Display
One very special vehicle you might see is the custom-built Popemobile. This unique vehicle was made for the visit of Pope John Paul II to the United Kingdom in 1982. It was a huge, 24-ton vehicle with strong armor, built by British Leyland just for the Pope's trip.
