Brittany Allen is a Canadian actress born on February 5, 1986. She is known for her roles in TV shows and movies. One of her first big roles was playing Marissa Chandler on the TV show All My Children. For this role, she won a special award called a Daytime Emmy Award in 2011. She has also worked on many films with her partner, Colin Minihan. These films include Extraterrestrial (2014), It Stains the Sands Red (2016), and What Keeps You Alive (2018). For What Keeps You Alive, Brittany not only starred in the movie but also helped create its music.

Learning and Training
Brittany Allen went to the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto, Canada. This school helps young artists develop their talents. She also studied at the Sheridan Institute for Technology and Advanced Learning in Oakville, Ontario. There, she focused on Music Theatre – Performance, learning how to act, sing, and dance for the stage.
Acting Career
Brittany Allen started her acting journey with smaller parts in TV movies. Her big break came when she played Marissa Chandler on the popular TV show All My Children. She was on the show from April 2009 to December 2010. In 2011, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for being an outstanding young actress in a drama series.
After All My Children, Brittany appeared in several other TV series. She had ongoing roles in the Canadian show Bomb Girls and the American science fiction show Defiance.
In 2014, Brittany took on a main role in the science fiction horror film Extraterrestrial. This movie was directed by Colin Minihan. Brittany and Colin began working together often after this film.
In 2016, she worked with Colin Minihan again on the unique zombie film It Stains the Sands Red. In this movie, Brittany played a woman being chased by a single zombie in the desert. She was also an executive producer for the film, meaning she helped manage the movie's production.
In 2017, Brittany starred in the science fiction drama Incontrol. She also had a role in the horror film Jigsaw, which is part of the Saw movie series.
In 2018, she joined the cast of the TV series Falling Water for its second season. She also appeared in the second season of NBC's "Taken." That same year, she co-starred with Hannah Emily Anderson in the thriller movie What Keeps You Alive. Brittany also produced this film and composed its music. This was her third time working with director Colin Minihan.
In 2019, she appeared in the horror film The Prodigy. The same year, she played Charlotte, also known as Popclaw, in the superhero TV series The Boys on Amazon.
Personal Life
In 2014, Brittany Allen started dating Canadian director Colin Minihan. They met while working on the movie Extraterrestrial, where he was the director and she was the star.
