Brodie became a top ultimate frisbee player. He played for the University of Florida. There, he won two national college championships. These wins were in 2006 and 2010. He also won two National Club Championships. He won in 2012 with a team called Doublewide. Then, he won again in 2014 with Johnny Bravo. Brodie played professionally in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). He played for teams like the Indianapolis AlleyCats and the Dallas Roughnecks.

Brodie's Ultimate Frisbee Journey
Brodie Smith started playing ultimate frisbee in high school. He attended Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida. He would play games after his cross country practice.
College Success
Brodie joined the ultimate team at the University of Florida in 2006. That same spring, his team won their first National College Championship. In 2007, his team finished third. In 2008, they were the runner-up. The team didn't qualify for nationals in 2009. But in 2010, the University of Florida men's team won again. It was their second national championship in five years.
Playing Professionally
Brodie Smith began his professional ultimate career in 2011. He played in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). His first team was the Indianapolis Alleycats. In 2013, Brodie joined the Chicago Wildfire. However, he got a serious knee injury. He tore his ACL and meniscus. This injury kept him from playing in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Brodie signed with the Dallas Roughnecks. In 2017, he moved back to Florida. He then signed with the Jacksonville Cannons.

Brodie's first trick shot video was called "Frisbee Trick Shots." He released it on YouTube in 2011. It showed many cool frisbee throws. These shots were done around Gainesville, Florida.
