Shannon Narrun Williams, known as Brothablack, is an Indigenous hip hop artist from Sydney, Australia. He is known for his powerful music and his work in the community.

Brothablack was one of the first members of a music group called South West Syndicate. This group won a special award called a Deadly Award for their music. After his time with the group, Brothablack started his own solo music career.

Brothablack's Music and Performances

As a solo artist, Brothablack has done many exciting things. He worked as an MC, which is like a host, for The National Indigenous 3on3 Basketball and Hip Hop Challenge. He also performed at a very big music festival called the Big Day Out.

In 2007, Brothablack released his own album titled More Than A Feeling. He created this album to help people who are not Indigenous understand what life is like for Indigenous men. His music often shares important messages and stories.

He also worked with another famous Australian hip hop group, Hilltop Hoods, in 2007. They created a song together to support a campaign by reconcile.org.au. This campaign aimed to bring attention to important health issues affecting Indigenous people.

Radio and TV Appearances

Brothablack's music has been played a lot on a popular radio station called Triple J. He even performed a live show for Triple J's "Live at the Wireless" program, which was broadcast on July 9, 2007.

Later, he became a co-host for a TV show called "Move it Mob Style." He hosted the show for its first three seasons alongside Naomi Wenitong. The show was popular for its fun way of encouraging kids to be active.
