Browder is a small, unincorporated community located in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does. Instead, it's usually managed by the county government.
History of Browder
Browder has been a recognized community for over a century. A post office, which helps people send and receive mail, first opened its doors in Browder way back in 1905. The community got its name from a person named W. F. Browder. He was an important official who worked for the railroad, which played a big part in connecting communities and transporting goods in the past.
