Bryce Deadmon (born March 26, 1997) is an American track and field athlete. He is known for his amazing speed in the 400-meter race. In July 2023, he became the US national champion in this event. He has won several medals at the Olympic Games and World Athletics Championships.

Bryce Deadmon's Sprinting Journey

Bryce Deadmon was a student at Texas A&M University. He showed great talent in running the 400-meter race. In 2021, he was the runner-up at the SEC Outdoor championship. This means he finished second in a very important college competition. He also placed second at the NCAA championships that same year.

Road to the Olympics

Bryce worked hard to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He competed in the US Olympic Trials for the 400-meter race. He ran fast enough in his early races to make it to the final. Even though he placed seventh in the final, he was chosen for the US men's relay team. This team competes in the 4 × 400-meter relay.

Olympic Glory

At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Bryce Deadmon was part of two relay teams. He helped the Mixed 4 × 400-meter relay team win a bronze medal. This was a super exciting moment! Then, he joined the Men's 4 × 400-meter relay team. They ran incredibly well and won the gold medal! It was an amazing achievement for Bryce and his team.

World Championships and More Wins

Bryce continued his success after the Olympics. In 2022, he won a gold medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon. This was for the Men's 4 × 400-meter relay. He also won a gold medal at the NACAC Championships in 2022. This shows he is one of the best sprinters in North America.

In 2023, Bryce won the 400-meter race at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This made him the national champion! He was then chosen to compete at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

Paris 2024 Olympics

In April 2024, Bryce was selected for the American team for the World Athletics Relays. He then competed in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He once again ran in the Men's 4 × 400-meter relay. His team won the gold medal, making it his second Olympic gold! He also earned a silver medal in the mixed 4x400m relay at the Paris Games. Bryce Deadmon is a true champion in track and field!
