Bucktown is a small, historic village located in South Coventry Township. This area is part of Chester County in Pennsylvania, United States. It's called an unincorporated village because it doesn't have its own separate local government like a city or town.

Bucktown is easy to find because it sits right where two main roads meet: Route 23 and Route 100. It's also home to the main campus of the Owen J. Roberts School District. This means both the Owen J. Roberts Middle School and the Owen J. Roberts High School are located here.

The village of Bucktown got its name from an old building called the Buck Tavern. This tavern was a type of inn or hotel. It first opened its doors in 1790. Back in 1883, Bucktown was very small, with only six houses and the hotel.
