Bullseye is a famous white Bull Terrier dog. He is the official mascot for Target Corporation, a big store chain. You can often see Bullseye in Target's TV commercials and on signs in their stores.

Did you know that more than one dog plays Bullseye? Several dogs take turns being the mascot for different events. Each Bullseye dog has a pure white coat. They also have the red bullseye logo painted around their right eye. This special mark is how the mascot got his name! The paint used on Bullseye is very safe and natural. Sometimes, Target even gives out Bullseye stuffed toys for special events.

History of Bullseye

Bullseye first appeared in a TV commercial in 1999. The very first dog to play Bullseye was named "Smudgie." He was a champion dog from the American Kennel Club. The dogs who play Bullseye today come from a special breeder in Massachusetts. For example, one of the dogs who played Bullseye in 2014 was named Nikki.

The Bullseye dogs live on a ranch near Los Angeles. They are trained by David McMillan, who runs a company called Worldwide Movie Animals. In 2004, a large painting of Bullseye was made by an artist named Amy Brazil. This big painting now hangs at Target's main office.
