C. S. (Carole Schwerdtfeger) Adler (born February 23, 1932) is an American author who writes books for children. She became a full-time writer after her first book, The Magic of the Glits, was published in 1979. This book was very popular and won two important awards: the William Allen White Award and the Golden Kite Award.
