About Caballero
Caballero covers a land area of about 41.5 square kilometers (that's about 16 square miles). In 2010, around 3,501 people lived there. This means about 84 people lived in each square kilometer.
How Caballero Was Created
Caballero became a corregimiento on July 29, 1998. It was officially created by a special rule called Law 58. Before this, there was an older law from 1982 (Law 1). But that law was found to be against the country's rules, so it was changed. In the year 2000, Caballero had a population of 3,111 people.
