The Cadaqués Orchestra (Orquesta de Cadaqués in Spanish; Orquestra de Cadaqués in Catalan) is a special music group. It's a chamber orchestra, which means it's a smaller orchestra. This orchestra is based in Cadaqués, a town in Catalonia, Spain.

The orchestra started in 1988. It was first created to be the main orchestra for the Cadaqués Festival. Since then, it has grown into a well-known orchestra. It now has its own regular concert season.

The Cadaqués Orchestra also hosts an important event. It's called the Cadaqués Orchestra International Conducting Competition. This competition happens every two years. It helps find new talented music conductors.

Gianandrea Noseda

Gianandrea Noseda became the main conductor of the orchestra in 1994. He won the Cadaqués Orchestra International Conducting Competition that same year. He has been leading the orchestra ever since.

Jaime Martín

In 2011, Jaime Martín also became a chief conductor. He shares this role with Gianandrea Noseda. Jaime Martín was actually one of the first members of the orchestra. He used to play the flute!
