Calceta is a lively town in the Manabí province of Ecuador. It's located right by the Carrizal river, in a beautiful valley with the same name. Calceta is an important place for trade and services in the central part of Manabí.
This town is a hub for learning! It has many high schools and over twenty regular schools. Just 3 kilometers away, you'll find the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Manabí (ESPAM). This is a modern university that focuses on agriculture and the environment.
