The California Jaguars were a professional soccer team. They played their games in Salinas, California. Their home field was the Salinas Sports Complex.
The team started in 1995. They were first known as the Monterey Bay Jaguars. After just one year, they changed their name. They became the California Jaguars.
The Jaguars played in different soccer leagues. These included the USISL from 1995 to 1996. Then they joined the A-League for the 1997 and 1998 seasons. In 1999, they moved to the USL D3 Pro League. This league was later called the Pro Select League. The team stopped playing after the 1999 season.
