Calilegua is a town and a municipality located in Jujuy Province, a region in the northern part of Argentina. This town is known for being close to the famous Calilegua National Park, which is a huge protected area with lots of amazing nature.

Calilegua has a warm and humid climate throughout the year. The average temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit).
Rainfall and Seasons
The town experiences a lot of rain, especially during the summer months. From January to March, it rains quite a bit, with over 150 millimeters (about 6 inches) of rain each month. The wettest month is usually January.
During the winter months, from June to August, the weather is much drier. There is very little rain during this time, sometimes only a few millimeters. The temperatures are also a bit cooler in winter, but still mild.
The climate helps the local plants and animals thrive, especially in the nearby national park.
