Callum Hart's Football Journey
Callum Hart grew up in Cardiff, Wales. He started his football career as a young player at Bristol City.
Starting His Professional Career
In 2005, Callum left Bristol City. He then tried out for AFC Bournemouth. He played well in their practice games. Soon, he was offered a short-term contract.
He made his first team debut on August 24, 2005. This was in a Football League Cup match. Bournemouth won against Torquay United in a penalty shootout. After that, he started his first game against Chesterfield.
In February 2006, Callum was asked to join the Wales under-21 team. They were playing against Paraguay. However, he could not play because his club, Bournemouth, had many injured players.
Moving to Different Clubs
Bournemouth released Callum on May 7, 2007. In November, he joined Weymouth. He played for them until February 2009.
After leaving Weymouth, he joined Farnborough. He played only one game for them. He then decided to look for another professional contract.
In October 2009, Callum joined Bath City. He did not stay long and soon signed with Weston-super-Mare. He returned to Bath City before the 2010–11 season. Then, on March 14, 2011, he moved to Salisbury City.
Time at Salisbury
Callum faced some injuries when he first joined Salisbury. He signed a temporary contract for the 2011–12 season. This was to show he was fit enough to play. He played very well and was even voted player of the month in August. Because of his great performances, the club offered him a one-year deal. Sadly, he got a serious knee injury soon after. This meant he could not play for the rest of that season.
He came back the next season, 2012–13. Again, he was asked to prove his fitness. He started with a temporary contract. After a good pre-season, he signed a full contract. Callum played regularly for Salisbury that season. He started most of their matches. He signed a new contract for the 2013–14 season as well.
