Camilla Anne Luddington is an actress from England, born on December 15, 1983. She is most famous for playing Dr. Jo Wilson in the TV show Grey's Anatomy, which is a medical drama. Camilla also provides the voice for the character Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video games. She has also voiced Zatanna in animated movies from the DC Animated Movie Universe.

Early Life and Education
Camilla Luddington was born in Ascot, Berkshire, England. When she was 11 years old, she started studying at the Italia Conti Academy in England. At age 14, she moved to Austin, Texas, in the United States. She attended Westwood High School for one year.
After a year, she went back to England. She finished her schooling at The American International School in England (TASIS) in July 2002. When she was 19, Luddington enrolled at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania. However, she had not visited the university before arriving. After six months, she left and moved to the New York Film Academy. In 2003, Camilla was part of the first group to complete the school's one-year acting program.

Film Roles
In 2011, Luddington played the main character, Kate, in the movie William & Kate: The Movie. She also appeared in the film The Pact II in 2013. In this movie, she played a person who cleans up crime scenes. In 2015, she joined the cast of The Healer, playing a character named Cecilia.
Television Appearances
Camilla Luddington has mostly worked in the United States. She joined the TV show Californication for its fifth season, where she played a nanny. She also appeared in True Blood, a vampire drama, as a faerie named Claudette Crane.
In July 2012, Luddington joined the cast of the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy. She played Dr. Jo Wilson in a recurring role at first. In June 2013, it was announced that she would become a regular cast member from season ten onwards. She has been a main character on the show ever since. In October 2012, Luddington was also on a Halloween special of the fashion show Fashion Police.
Voicing Lara Croft in Tomb Raider
In June 2012, the video game company Crystal Dynamics announced that Camilla Luddington would be the voice of Lara Croft. Lara Croft is the main character in the video game Tomb Raider. When Camilla first auditioned, she thought she was trying out for a different project. She later found out it was for the famous Lara Croft!
Camilla continued to voice Lara Croft in the game's sequels. These include Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. She also did the motion capture for the character, meaning her movements were used to make Lara Croft's movements in the games look realistic.
Personal Life
On October 21, 2016, Camilla Luddington shared that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, actor Matthew Alan. Their daughter, Hayden Mary, was born. Camilla and Matthew announced their engagement on January 17, 2018. They got married on August 17, 2019. The couple later welcomed a second child, a son named Lucas Matthew.
