Carl is a small town located in Barrow County, Georgia, United States. In 2020, about 209 people lived there.
History of Carl
The town of Carl was officially created in 1908. When it was first established, it was called "Lawson". Later, its name was changed to "Carl". This new name came from the infant son of some of the first families who settled in the area.
Geography of Carl
Carl is found in the western part of Barrow County. It is right next to the city of Auburn on its west side.
The town covers a total area of about 2.8 square kilometers (or 1.09 square miles). Almost all of this area is land.
