Early Life and Learning
Carl Ashmore was born in 1968 in a town called Crewe, which is in England. He went to Bournemouth University. In 1990, he finished his studies there. He learned all about communication and how media is made.
Becoming an Author
Before Carl Ashmore became a full-time author, he had other interesting jobs. He worked for a TV company called Granada Television. He also taught students about film and media at Burslem College.
Carl Ashmore wrote his very first book, The Time Hunters, in 2006. He was living in the south of France at the time. This book became the start of a fantastic series.
