Carl Weber is an American author, publisher, and TV producer. He was born in 1964. He is well-known for writing many popular books. Some of his books have even been turned into movies and TV shows.
Carl Weber also owns a company called Urban Books. This company helps other authors publish their books. He used to own bookstores too, called Urban Knowledge.
His mystery books, like The Man in 3B, The Preacher's Son, and The Choir Director, became movies. Another one of his books, Influence, also became a film in 2020. Carl Weber also created and produced the TV show The Family Business. This show is based on his popular book series. In 2022, he also created another TV show called The Black Hamptons.
Carl Weber's Life and Career
Carl Weber grew up in Jamaica, Queens, a part of New York City. He went to Virginia State University and earned a degree there. Later, he studied at the University of Virginia and received his MBA.
He published his very first book, Lookin' for Luv, in the year 2000. Many of his books became very popular. For example, Man on the Run was chosen as a top book by Library Journal. His book So You Call Yourself a Man was also a bestseller.
Carl Weber's book series, The Family Business, was made into a TV show. It started airing on BET in 2018. The show has been very successful and continues to be popular. Another one of his novels, Influence, was also adapted into a show for BET Plus.
