Carla Juri (born on January 2, 1985) is a talented actress from Switzerland. She has starred in several movies, including 180°, Wetlands, Finsterworld, and Blade Runner 2049.

Early Life and Education
Carla Juri grew up in Ambrì, a small village in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland called Ticino. Her father is a lawyer, and her mother is a sculptor. Carla is very good at languages. She learned German and Italian when she was young, and she started learning English at age 15.
When she was in school, Carla played ice hockey for a team called HC Ambrì-Piotta. She was a forward for a top Swiss team, SC Reinach. After high school, she studied acting in Los Angeles and London from 2005 to 2010.
Carla began her acting career by going to many auditions in cities like Berlin, London, and Rome. She worked hard to find roles, using her ability to speak three languages.
Acting Career Highlights
Carla Juri's first movie role was in a short film called Midday Room. In 2011, she won the Swiss Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie 180°. The next year, she won the Best Actress award for her part in Someone Like Me
.In 2013, Carla was chosen as a "Shooting Star." This award is given each year to ten promising young European actors at the Berlin International Film Festival. That same year, she played the main character in the movie Wetlands. This role is one of her most famous. To get ready for the part, Carla wore her character's clothes for several weeks. She even pretended to be a student at a high school to understand her character better.
Later, Carla appeared in the science fiction movie Blade Runner 2049. In this film, she played a character who designs memories for special human-like robots called replicants.
