Carlos Daniel Cevada Teixeira (born on July 11, 1994) is a professional Portuguese footballer. He plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder. Currently, he plays for Liga Portugal 2 club C.S. Marítimo.

Carlos Daniel's Football Journey
Starting in Youth Teams
Carlos Daniel was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. He started playing football at a young age. In 2009, he joined the youth academy of U.D. Leiria. He also spent two years in the youth system of S.L. Benfica.
First Steps as a Professional
On May 14, 2011, Carlos Daniel made his professional debut. He was only 16 years old at the time. This made him the second youngest player ever to play for U.D. Leiria. His first game was a 3–3 draw against S.L. Benfica.
Playing for Different Clubs
After his time at U.D. Leiria, Carlos Daniel played for several clubs. He spent some time on loan at G.D. Tourizense. Later, he joined C.S. Marítimo B, which is the reserve team for C.S. Marítimo.
He played many games for Marítimo B. He even played one match for the main Marítimo team in 2017. This was a 3–1 win against F.C. Paços de Ferreira.
Moving Around Portugal
After leaving Marítimo in 2018, Carlos Daniel played for several other Portuguese clubs. These included U.D. Leiria again, C.D. Fátima, S.C. Beira-Mar, and C.D. Mafra. He gained a lot of experience playing in different leagues.
Playing Abroad in Poland
In 2021, when he was 27, Carlos Daniel tried playing football in another country. He signed a two-year contract with Wisła Puławy in Poland. This was his first time playing outside of Portugal.
Return to Portugal
In the summer of 2022, Carlos Daniel came back to Portugal. He joined C.D. Nacional, another team in the second-tier league. He played for Nacional until 2024.
Back to Marítimo
In 2024, Carlos Daniel returned to C.S. Marítimo. This is where he plays now. He continues to be an important player for the team.
