Carol made history as the first woman to be an executive at Fairchild Industries, a big aerospace company. She is a leader in the effort to stop weapons that attack satellites and to prevent the "Strategic Defense Initiative." This initiative was a plan to build defenses against missiles in space.

Her Work with Dr. Wernher von Braun

While at Fairchild, Carol Rosin worked as the spokesperson for Dr. Wernher von Braun. He was a famous rocket scientist. Together, they created a film and an educational program called "It's Your Turn." This program aimed to encourage more people from different backgrounds to work in science.
