Biography
Early Life and Education
Caroline Ansink studied music at the Utrechts Conservatorium, a famous music school in the Netherlands. She learned to play the flute with a teacher named Abbie de Quant. She also studied how to compose music with Joep Straesser.
She finished her studies in 1985 and 1986. After that, Caroline worked as a flutist, playing the flute in the Clara Schumann Orchestra in Cologne, Germany. She also taught music at the Utrechts Conservatorium, the same school where she studied.
Television Documentary
In 1992, Caroline Ansink and another composer named Catharina van Rennes were featured in a television show. The documentary was called I compose as a human being and was shown on NOS TV. It helped people learn more about their work as composers.
Awards and Honors
