The Carrollton Road-Carrollton Segment is a very old road in Boone County, Arkansas. It was built in the 1800s. This historic road stretches for over 4 miles (about 6.4 kilometers). It goes east from Carrollton, which used to be an important town.
This road is special because it looks much like it did in the 1800s. It is still a dirt road in a quiet, rural area. It is also famous for being a path used by Native American groups during the Trail of Tears in 1838.
A Historic Road in Arkansas
The Carrollton Road-Carrollton Segment is a piece of history you can still see today. It is located in Boone County, Arkansas. The road starts near U.S. Route 412. It then follows a path made up of County Road 417, Terrapin Creek Road, and Dunkard Road. It ends where it meets Green Hill Road.
