Casa Grande is a town located in northern Peru. It is the main town of the Casa Grande District in Ascope Province. This province is part of the La Libertad Region.
The town is situated right next to the Pan-American Highway. This important road helps connect Casa Grande to other places. It is about 48 kilometers (30 miles) north of Trujillo city. Casa Grande is found in the Chicama Valley, which is a very important area for farming.
Climate in Casa Grande
Casa Grande has a warm climate for most of the year. The hottest months are usually February and March. During these months, temperatures can reach around 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit). The coolest months are July and August, with temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit).
The town does not get much rain. The driest months are from May to November. Even in the wettest months, like March, there is only a small amount of rainfall. The air is often quite humid, especially from May to August. This climate is good for the farming that happens in the Chicama Valley.
