History of Case
The community of Case has a short but interesting history. A post office was opened here in 1861. A post office is where people send and receive mail. It was a very important place for communication back then! This post office served the community for many years, closing down in 1876. The area was named after a person named John Case. He was an early settler, often called a "pioneer citizen," meaning he was one of the first people to live and help build up the community.
