Growing Up in London
Cassandra Ann Fox was born in North London in 1982. She grew up in a big family. From a young age, Cass knew she wanted to make music. She did not go to a special music school. She learned on her own.
How Cass Was Discovered
One night, Cass was singing with a reggae band on the streets of West End. A friend of producer Rui Da Silva heard her. He was very impressed. They exchanged contact information. Soon, Cass started working at the Roundhouse studios. She spent a lot of time there. She worked with other music producers.
The Hit Song "Touch Me"
While at Roundhouse studios, Cass wrote the words for "Touch Me." She also sang the vocals for the song. She helped Rui Da Silva produce the track. "Touch Me" became the number one song in early 2001. It sold over 300,000 copies. This made Cass Fox very well known.

Touring with Faithless
In 2005, Cass Fox joined the band Faithless on their Forever Faithless tour. She was one of the opening acts. An opening act performs before the main band.
