The Castle of Aixa is an old castle in Spain. It's also known as Castell de la Solana. This castle is found high up in the mountains of Castellet de Aixa. It sits about 600 meters (almost 2,000 feet) above sea level.

You can find the castle in the area of Beniquesi, which is part of Alcalalí. It's located between two places called Llosa de Camacho and Jalón. From its spot, it overlooks the whole Pop Valley.

What is the Castle of Aixa?

The Castle of Aixa is mostly in ruins today. This means that only parts of its original structure remain. You can still see some of its base and parts of its old walls.

What can you see at the castle?

Even though it's a ruin, there are still interesting features to explore. The castle once had a rectangular tower. This tower was about 12 meters (39 feet) long and 4 meters (13 feet) wide. Inside or near this tower, there were three shallow pools. There was also a fountain.
