Marco Antônio Lemos Tozzi (born November 7, 1973 – died December 27, 2011), known to many as Catê, was a talented Brazilian footballer. He played as a striker for many clubs. His career took him to play in Brazil, Chile, Italy, the United States, and Venezuela.

Playing Career
Catê started his football journey in his hometown of Cruz Alta, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He began playing for a local team called Guarany.
Early Success
After a short time with Grêmio, Catê found great success. This happened when he joined São Paulo. He played under the famous manager Telê Santana.
International Games
Catê also represented his country, Brazil. He played for the Brazil U20 team. In 1993, he was part of the team that played in the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship in Australia.
Later Career
Throughout his career, Catê played for many different clubs. Some of these included Cruzeiro in Brazil, Universidad Católica in Chile, and Sampdoria in Italy. He also played for the New England Revolution in the United States.

After his playing career, Catê also worked as a football manager for a short time. He managed teams like Brusque and Nova Prata.
Sadly, Catê passed away on December 27, 2011. He was involved in a car accident in the town of Ipê, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
