The Catholic University of Petrópolis (in Portuguese, Universidade Católica de Petrópolis), also known as UCP, is a private university in Petrópolis, Brazil. Petrópolis is a large city in the mountains of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The university is supported by the Catholic Church.
UCP is known for its excellent study programs. It has one of the best Physiotherapy programs in the state. Its Biomedicine program is also ranked very highly. The university's Law School is one of the few in the area that is recommended by the National Bar Association of Brazil, which is a very important group for lawyers in the country.

How to Get Into UCP
To be accepted as a student at UCP, you need to pass an exam. The university accepts scores from two different tests: the ENEM, which is a national exam in Brazil, and its own entrance exam, called a vestibular.
