Cathy Wilkes was born in a place called Dundonald, near Belfast. She loved art and studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1985 to 1988. Later, she continued her art education at the University of Ulster, finishing in 1992. Today, she still lives and creates her art in Glasgow.
